Research Interests: Analysis and approximation of Hamilton-Jacobi equations, with particular attention to applications in Image Processing.
I work on several projects related to
Shape-from-X problems (mainly Shape-from-Shading and Shape-from-Polarisation),
Multi-View and Photometric Stereo Shape-from-X,
Image Segmentation,
Image Denoising,
Study of viscosity solutions on graphs in the context of mathematical models for pedestrian flow.
Numerical techniques for PDEs: Semi-Lagrangian schemes, Finite Difference schemes, acceleration techniques (like e.g. Fast Marching and Fast Sweeping), “Filtered” Schemes (a mixture of a High-order scheme and a monotone one)
